A multi-instrumentalist, Brad plays and teaches drums, percussion, and guitar. He has been the drummer for the successful Twin Cities bands "Soul Tight Committee" and "UniverSoul" and has performed with groups in a range of styles, including: Jazz, Reggae, Heavy Rock, Classic Rock, Pop, R&B, and more. Brad has 15+ years experience teaching music including 6 years as percussion instructor at St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN. He enjoys working with students of all ages and strives to create a fun learning atmosphere where music is the focus, not lecturing. In fact, Brad likes to hold little jam sessions in his lessons, either playing guitar with drum students or drums with guitar students. This approach helps to build the students confidence and technique as well as their skills in a group setting.

An enthusiastic composer, Mike has had multiple songs placed in television programs including America's got talent, Ace of Cakes and I (Almost) got away with it. He is well versed in modern popular music, especially rock. Mike believes the key to student success is teaching the principles of music through the songs and curriculum the student chooses. Rather than "talking at" the student, Mike works with them to discover their personal interests, hone their strengths, and improve their weaknesses. Mike is great with players of all levels. Here is a testimonial from one of the parents of one of Mike's students:
"Mike, as our son’s guitar teacher, far exceeds our expectations and demonstrates weekly what a wonderful teacher he is. Mike is not only friendly and kind, but also patient with our son. Patience is something our son struggles with every day when an activity doesn’t come naturally. Not only has our son grown with learning the instrument, he has also gained more confidence in himself. Mike is both positive and encouraging and uses reinforcing techniques that will make his students better musicians. Playing and practicing the guitar is not a chore but rather an activity our son performs happily and voluntarily because Mike has imparted his enthusiasm onto him."

Chris keeps us upbeat around here with his positive attitude. When he's not playing guitar, he can be found roasting coffee at Dunn Brothers early in the morning. A student of the great Billy Bernard at UMD, he knows his stuff! Chris can show you jazz, rock, country or even music theory. He is very patient and great with young people.
